My journey began more than twenty-five years ago within the yogic tradition, in a rhythm of daily practice, introspection, and service. For fourteen of those years, I lived as a yogic nun, offering social service and teaching yoga, meditation, and lifestyle in more than fourteen countries and communities.
Those years showed me in a very simple and direct way how the breath, the body, the emotions, the memory, and the sense are completely interconnected. Later, I trained in the Van Laere Breathwork Method and Human Garage Fascial Maneuvers, bringing together yogic wisdom with modern somatic approaches and the lifestyle principles that have sustained me for decades. My name is Iris Usha. Iris is my birth name, and Usha is my spiritual name, which means dawn, morning light. For me, it is a silent reminder of renewal and hope on the path I am walking.
Today I work from Sitges, Barcelona, and also online with people from different places around the world who feel that something within them is asking for more coherence. I do not come with all the answers. I bring my experience, my presence, and a genuine intention to help you listen to your own system and take the next honest step.
